CONTEXT

Independent strategy study · 2026
Based on public information.

01 / PROJECT

The Challenge

Where should a hospitality SaaS business focus its next 90 days of SEO work?

Find the demand that fits the product. Check the pages people reach. Prioritize work that helps them evaluate and buy.

I used public pages, search estimates and observed results. Internal analytics and sales data would be needed to validate the business impact.

Historical research: Semrush France, 16 Oct 2026; Keywords Everywhere and observed Google France results, 17 Oct 2026. Volumes are estimates, not traffic. Difficulty scales are not interchangeable. Priorities are strategic assessments, not revenue forecasts. N/A means unavailable.

THE DECISION

Improve intent alignment and the path to the product before simply producing more URLs.

03 / PROJECT

The product-page audit

A visible product page is only useful if the next step works.

I reviewed the French PMS page from search intent through to the demo journey. The audit documented 14 issues. These three became the first priorities.

01 / DEMO JOURNEY

Fix the demo CTA.

The primary booking button pointed to href="#". The tested click stayed on the product page.

Proposed action

Repair the destination and test the full booking journey on desktop and mobile.

No booking flow opened in the 17 October test.
02 / LOCALIZATION

Use French on the French page.

The integrations heading and paragraph remained in English. Other wording referred to real-estate management.

Proposed action

Review the page with a French-speaking product expert, including terminology and the information buyers need.

Redacted integrations capture: English heading and copy on the French PMS page

03 / STRUCTURED DATA

Point search engines to real pages.

The SoftwareApplication URL referenced a page that returned 404. Other structured fields disagreed with visible content.

Proposed action

Use valid canonical URLs and verify the markup against the actual product information.

Anonymized JSON-LD excerpt: SoftwareApplication references hotel-management-software, a URL verified as returning 404. The original domain is replaced with example.com.
Domain replaced with example.com. The URL path and recorded finding are unchanged.
All 14 findings, grouped by discipline

Content & localization (4)

  • English copy in the French integrations section.
  • Real-estate terminology in a hotel-management FAQ.
  • Concatenated text in the pricing answer.
  • A data-card title and its reporting description do not match.

Navigation & functionality (3)

  • The main demo CTA points to # and did not open booking in the test.
  • The footer logo links to an old homepage that returned 404.
  • The compliance link opens a commercial diagnostic instead.

Technical SEO (4)

  • Nonexistent URLs in WebPage, SoftwareApplication and breadcrumb data.
  • A 4.7 rating in structured data versus 4.6 on the page.
  • A zero-euro Offer alongside subscription pricing available on request.
  • Site-level finding: robots.txt lists llms.txt as a sitemap, although it is not a valid sitemap.

Accessibility (3)

  • Keyboard navigation skips all 11 FAQ controls; button semantics and expanded states are missing.
  • The mobile menu and four social icons lack accessible names.
  • The newsletter email input has an empty label.

Additional content review: pricing, integrations, migration, support and offline functionality needed clearer answers or product validation. These observations are separate from the 14 recorded issues.

Company identifiers have been redacted. Historical review: 17 October 2026. These findings describe the tested version, not the website today. Expected improvements were hypotheses; conversion loss was not measured.

90-DAY EXECUTION ROADMAP

Start with diagnosis. Then run in parallel.

Audit findings set the priorities. Confirmed blockers can be fixed early while content, measurement and quality checks move forward together.

Parallel workstreams with visible dependenciesAudit and prioritization begin first. Critical technical fixes start during the audit. Content follows validated clusters and editorial standards. The measurement audit informs the baseline. Continuous QA covers every release. Timing is illustrative, not a delivery guarantee.Day 1Day 30Day 60Day 90Audit & prioritizationTechnical fixesContent & architectureMeasurement & reportingContinuous QATechnical · Content · Measurement · Competitors → PrioritiesFix critical issues → Validate → ReleaseStandards → Optimize priority assets → Create → Publish + reviewBaseline + plan → Tracking setup → Monitoring + reportingDetect → Fix → Validate → MonitorCritical fixes can start early.Validated cluster + editorial standardsMeasurement audit informs the baselinePublication follows content validation.Forecasts improve as reliable commercial data accumulates.

Illustrative timing from the proposed roadmap. Delivery depends on access, capacity and approvals. On a small screen, scroll the timeline to inspect it.

Shared delivery.

A hands-on SEO owner works with Content, Localization, Engineering/Webflow, CRO and Sales. Each release has an owner and a validation step.

Concrete outputs.

A prioritized backlog, validated fixes, improved commercial pages, a measurement baseline and a repeatable QA process.

CONTENT BRIEF

Help hoteliers choose.

Improve an existing channel-manager comparison for independent hotel operators evaluating a purchase. Organise it around property size, channels, integration needs, migration and support.

Proposed content outline

Proposed H2 and H3 headings, translated from the French brief. Company identifiers are omitted.

  1. H2Understand the property’s needs
    • H3Size, rooms and distribution channels
    • H3Operational problems to solve
  2. H2Choose the right criteria
    • H3Integrations, automation and PMS compatibility
    • H3Pricing, support and ease of use
  3. H2Compare hotel channel managers
    • H3Verified features, advantages and limitations
  4. H2Match a solution to the property
    • H3Decision matrix, subject to product verification
  5. H2Answer questions before switching
    • H3Migration, costs, integrations and onboarding

Use verified provider comparisons and first-hand Product, Customer Success and Support input. Offer a contextual route to the product and a demo.

WHAT I WOULD DEFER

A mass glossary rollout.

A proposed multilingual glossary of 100+ terms could create volume without distinctive utility. I would start with a small French, expert-reviewed pilot before expanding.

AI can help check briefs, language, links and consistency. It cannot manufacture first-hand expertise. Human verification and technical tests remain release gates.

Every page must add verified, original value.
04 / PROJECT

Measurement

  1. Visibility
  2. Qualified traffic
  3. Qualified demos
  4. New customers
  5. New MRR

Build the baseline before forecasting.

Request up to 12 months of search, analytics and CRM data. Segment France, branded and non-branded queries, landing pages, device and customer type. Account for seasonality and sales-cycle lag.

Keep recorded acquisition source separate from customer-reported discovery. AI mentions and branded searches may inform an investigation; they are not directly attributed revenue.

Keep the initial order as a hypothesis. Verify analytics and lead quality with Sales before committing to a revenue forecast.

Illustrative decision rules. No internal conversion or revenue data is represented here.
EDITORIAL QUALITY & AI

Scale quality alongside production.

Before expanding a multilingual glossary, I would validate a small French pilot against four standards. Product expertise and final approval stay with people.

SEO

Audience, intent, architecture and internal links.

Editorial

Original value, reliable sources and factual accuracy.

Localization

Correct French, product terminology and local relevance.

Technical

URLs, markup, accessibility and working interactions.

  1. Brief
  2. Automated checks
  3. Flag issues
  4. Human verification
  5. Approval
  6. Publish
  7. Monitor
THE RELEASE STANDARD

Every page must add verified, original value.
